At the Lagos Island Maternity Hospital, Mrs Fashola congratulated the mother of the first baby of the year, Mrs. Folashade Adediji, who was delivered of a set of female twins. The first baby was born at 12:01am, weighting 2.5kg and her twin sister, weighing 2.2kg, was delivered at 12: 06am. Mrs Fashola also visited the General Hospital, Ifako Ijaiye and Apapa General Hospital.
